Database access via crafted attrVal filter
Published Jun 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted attrVal parameter. DictController accepts attr.dict_type as attrVal and incorporates it into the dictionary-list SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. An administrator login is required, and the demonstrated payload reads database identity data through the application's database connection.
