Application crash via unchecked cyclic object recursion

Stack overflow in Object::copy in Xpdf 4.04 allows context-dependent attackers to crash the application via a crafted PDF file. A cyclic object graph in the PDF drives recursive object copying without loop detection until the process exhausts its call stack. Opening the crafted file is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a crash and tainted control flow, but not code execution.
