Administrator account takeover via unlimited login attempts
Published Oct 12, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Improper authentication throttling in WiJungle NGFW U250 OS 9.4.9 allows remote attackers to take over the administrator account. The administrative login accepts roughly 30,000 automated username-and-password attempts without rate limiting, continuing until submitted credentials succeed. Access to the appliance's local-network login page is required, and a successful guess grants administrative control of the gateway.
