Database access via injectable schedule identifier
Published Jun 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Railway Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter data through a crafted id value. The manage_schedule.php endpoint fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the id parameter, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return the active database name. Access requires an administrator session, and successful exploitation reaches data available to the application's database account.
