Authenticated database access via train ID injection
Published Jun 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Railway Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via a crafted train ID. The train-management page incorporates the id query parameter into a database query without safely separating input from SQL, enabling UNION-based data extraction. Access to the administrative train-management interface is required; successful injection can expose or modify application database records.
