Application crash via NULL mask channel dereference

Improper exceptional-condition handling in GNOME GIMP 2.10.30 allows attackers to crash the application by opening a crafted XCF file. gimp_channel_is_empty returns FALSE for a NULL mask channel, so gimp_layer_invalidate_boundary treats the absent channel as nonempty and dereferences it. Exploitation requires the crafted file to be opened, and the reported consequence is termination of the GIMP process without data disclosure or code execution.
