Command injection in Tenable Nessus 10.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands with administrator privileges. A crafted custom audit file bypasses the PowerShell cmdlet allowlist, causing the Audit function to run disallowed commands. The attack requires a high-privilege Nessus account and another user's action to run the audit, after which commands execute with scanner-service administrator rights.
