CVE-2022-32972

Local privilege escalation via DLL injection

Published Feb 17, 2023 · Updated Mar 18, 2025

DLL injection in Infoblox BloxOne Endpoint for Windows 2.3.2 and earlier allows local users to execute programs as SYSTEM. The privileged agent executable searches an attacker-writable location for a DLL, but Infoblox does not identify the executable, DLL, or directory. A low-privileged local account and user interaction are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with SYSTEM privileges.
