CVE-2022-32967

System-information disclosure via hard-coded DASH password

Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in RTL8111EP-CG and RTL8111FP-CG firmware allow physically proximate attackers to read partial system information. The DASH authentication path accepts an embedded default password during a reboot, exposing serial-number and server details. Access requires physical proximity and another user's reboot; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
