Physical code execution via unchecked card number length

Stack buffer overflow in affected Chunghwa Telecom HiCOS credential client builds allows physically proximate attackers to execute arbitrary code. The platform-specific PKCS#11 module reads an IC card number without validating its length, allowing the value to overrun a stack buffer. Physical access to present a crafted smart card is required; successful exploitation can alter system data or crash the client service.
