Denial of service in Rdiffweb before 2.4.8 allows remote attackers to exhaust memory through an oversized login username. LoginForm in rdiffweb/controller/page_login.py accepts an unbounded login value, allowing oversized input to consume excess memory or corrupt memory. The login endpoint is network-reachable without authentication; successful exploitation can interrupt the web service.
