Improper access control in Shortcuts in Apple iOS before 16 and iOS and iPadOS before 15.7 allows physically proximate attackers to view photos. Apple describes the flaw only as a logic issue involving restrictions and has not disclosed the Shortcuts path that fails to enforce lock-screen photo controls. Physical possession of a locked device is required, and the reported consequence is limited to viewing photos without unlocking it.
