CVE-2022-32777Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated session hijacking via missing cookie flags

Published Aug 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Information disclosure in WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364 allows remote attackers to steal session cookies via HTTP requests. The session initialization in objects/include_config.php inherits disabled PHP defaults for session.cookie_secure and session.cookie_httponly instead of enabling both protections. An unauthenticated request receives the exposed cookie; JavaScript access requires an additional script-execution path, while network leakage requires non-HTTPS transport, and a stolen privileged cookie grants that user's session access.
