CVE-2022-32775Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via overflowing recording-request allocation

Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Integer overflow in iota All-In-One Security Kit 6.9X and 6.9Z allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted HTTP request. The web_ipcam_record_post handler multiplies attacker-controlled cnt and element-size values in 32 bits, allocates a tiny heap buffer after wraparound, then copies at least 255 bytes into it. Exploitation requires authentication and the disabled-by-default local web interface; successful corruption grants control of the program counter.
