CVE-2022-32764

Local privilege escalation via undisclosed race condition

Published Feb 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025

A race condition in Intel Driver & Support Assistant before 22.4.26 allows local users to escalate privileges through local interaction. Intel has not disclosed the affected component, shared resource, or unsynchronized operation that creates the timing window. Exploitation requires low privileges, user interaction, and a high-complexity race, and success compromises data and service operation at an elevated privilege boundary.
