Improper certificate validation in EcoStruxure Cybersecurity Admin Expert before 2.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to expose credentials. Schneider Electric has not disclosed the affected connection path or the certificate check that improperly trusts a peer. Exploitation requires an adjacent network position and user interaction during device configuration; leaked credentials permit access to CAE and other managed devices.
