Out-of-bounds write in MediaTek keyinstall on Android 10.0 through 13.0 allows local users to gain higher privileges via crafted input. An integer overflow in keyinstall causes a buffer-size calculation to wrap, resulting in a write beyond the allocated region when untrusted input is processed. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges on a device with an affected MediaTek chipset and requires no user interaction.
