Use-after-free in MediaTek vcu on affected Android 11.0 through 13.0 devices allows local users with System privileges to escalate. A race condition in the vcu component permits concurrent access to an object after its memory has been freed. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges and no user interaction; successful abuse elevates execution within the affected device.
