Settings changes via missing CSRF check
Published Nov 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in CodeAndMore WP Page Widget 3.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings via crafted requests. The settings-update handler accepts state-changing requests without a CSRF check, allowing attacker-controlled values to be saved. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content, and the resulting impact is limited to plugin configuration changes.
