CVE-2022-32573Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file upload via unsanitized display name

Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Path traversal in Lansweeper 10.1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to upload files to arbitrary filesystem locations. The AssetActions.aspx addDoc handler appends unsanitized txtdocname input to the DOCS path and passes the resulting filename to SaveAs. A low-privileged web-console session can use traversal sequences in the document display name to write attacker-controlled content outside the intended upload directory.
