CVE-2022-32556Network attack vector

Private key disclosure via crash logging

Published Jul 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Information disclosure in Couchbase Server before 7.0.4 allows attackers to obtain a private key via certain crashes. A crash in the server can write the generated certificate's private key into log files. Attackers need access to those logs; possession of the key can enable decryption of TLS traffic.
