Connection-authentication weakness in 1Password apps and integrations allows man-in-the-middle attackers to inspect encrypted requests. A historical deviation from standard Secure Remote Password weakens connection setup and lets a malicious server impersonate the 1Password service after TLS protection is defeated. Exploitation requires control of the network path and a device-trusted certificate; it exposes account activity and metadata, but not stored secrets or request modification.
