Authenticated XSS via unescaped workspace path
Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Pimcore before 10.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via a crafted workspace path. The Users > Workspaces asset, document, and object grids rendered the path column without HTML encoding, so attacker-controlled markup was interpreted when an authenticated user viewed the workspace. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to load the affected workspace page; the script can act with that user's permissions and read or modify data available to that account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
