CVE-2022-32534Network attack vector

Authenticated shell command execution via diagnostics input

Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

OS command injection in Bosch PRA-ES8P2S 1.01.05 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The diagnostics web interface passes improperly validated request input into an operating-system command context, where shell metacharacters are interpreted. A low-privileged web account and network access to the enabled interface are required; command execution can read or alter switch data and interrupt service.
