CVE-2022-32533Network attack vector

XSS, CSRF, XXE, and SSRF via unfiltered input

Published Jul 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Apache Jetspeed-2 2.3.1 allows remote attackers to trigger XSS, CSRF, XXE, and SSRF through unfiltered user input. The affected request-processing paths do not sufficiently filter untrusted values by default, allowing browser script injection, forged requests, external entity processing, or server-side requests. Apache marks the issue unsupported in a dormant project; enabling xss.filter.post may mitigate some paths, but no update is provided and exposure depends on reachable portal endpoints.
