CVE-2022-3251Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session hijacking via missing Secure cookie flag

Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025

Sensitive cookie exposure in IKUS Software Minarca before 4.2.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to capture session identifiers. Minarca Server embeds rdiffweb, whose secure_headers response handler leaves the session_id cookie without Secure instead of restricting it to HTTPS transport. An authenticated user must establish an HTTPS session, and an attacker able to observe a later HTTP request can reuse the disclosed identifier to hijack that session.
