CVE-2022-32507

Door unlocking via unchecked BLE command authorization

Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Improper access control in Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro before 3.3.5 and Smart Lock 2.0 before 2.12.4 allows attackers to issue privileged BLE commands. The BLE API accepts Lock Action and Set Security PIN commands authenticated with credentials belonging to a less-privileged Keypad account. Exploitation requires that account's auth ID and shared key; it can open the Keyturner without the Keypad code or replace the administrative PIN.
