Administrator-level SQL injection via unsanitized export fields
Published Dec 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
SQL injection in WP CSV Exporter before 1.3.7 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to manipulate database queries. The admin/download.php export handler places attacker-controlled posts_values array elements into a SQL statement without sanitization or escaping. An administrator-level WordPress session and valid export nonce are required; a crafted field value can alter the query and cause a time delay.
