Authenticated code execution via unrestricted teacher-image upload
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in itsourcecode Advanced School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code. The edit action in ip/school/view/all_teacher.php accepts a teacher-image upload after client-side extension checks are bypassed and stores it under school/uploads without rejecting PHP content. Administrative access to the background teacher module is required; a successful upload executes with the web application's privileges.
