Database compromise via unsanitized product id
Published Jul 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Product Show Room Site v1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via the product id parameter. The /psrs/?p=products/view_product&id= endpoint places the id value into a database query without adequate input handling, allowing crafted boolean and quoted payloads to change query results and disclose database details. Exploitation requires access to the web application and can compromise database confidentiality and integrity; the published record does not establish a reliable ability to interrupt service.
