Unauthenticated SQL injection via vendor reviews AJAX
Published Jan 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
SQL injection in Build App Online before 1.0.19 allows remote attackers to extract database values through an unauthenticated AJAX request. The build-app-online-vendor_reviews action inserts the vendor, orderby, and reviews_vendor parameters into SQL statements without proper sanitization or escaping. No WordPress account is required; with WC Multivendor Marketplace and WC Frontend Manager installed, crafted requests extract database values or delay queries.
