Authenticated SQL injection via inmate record identifier
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the inmate record id parameter. The admin/inmates/manage_record.php handler uses the id request value in its line 4 SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. Access to the administrative inmate-management interface is required, and successful injection permits database data to be read or changed.
