Authenticated database disclosure via interpolated inmate ID
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data through the id parameter. The manage_privilege.php handler embeds $_GET['id'] directly inside a quoted SELECT against inmate_list without parameterization or escaping. A valid Administrator or Staff session is required to reach this management-only endpoint, where conditional error-based payloads disclose query results.
