Database disclosure via unescaped visit ID
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database contents through a crafted visit ID. The manage_visit.php endpoint interpolates the id GET parameter directly into a SELECT query for visit_list without parameterization or escaping. An authenticated administrative session is required, and the published error-based payload distinguishes correct database-name guesses without showing data modification or command execution.
