Authenticated database information disclosure via unparameterized cell identifier
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database information through a crafted id parameter. The admin/cells/view_cell.php endpoint inserts $_GET['id'] directly into a quoted SELECT query without validation or parameterization. The administrative cell-view page must be reachable after login; the published proof of concept demonstrates an error-based database-name oracle.
