Authenticated database-name disclosure via my_index injection
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode Advanced School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database metadata via my_index. get_teacher_profile.php accepts a UNION SELECT expression in my_index and evaluates it in an SQL context instead of neutralizing SQL syntax. The published request uses a Super Admin PHP session and demonstrates disclosure of the current database name; broader data access or modification is not demonstrated.
