Authenticated database disclosure via crafted exam identifier
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode Advanced School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through get_exam.php. The endpoint processes a crafted id parameter as part of an SQL operation, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return the active database name. Access requires a valid session, and the published demonstration uses a Super Admin account; the demonstrated consequence is database disclosure.
