CVE-2022-3236Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via undisclosed web injection

Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Code injection in the User Portal and Webadmin in Sophos Firewall 19.0 MR1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. Sophos has not disclosed the affected request, input field, or code path, beyond identifying improper neutralization in both web interfaces. No authentication or user interaction is required, but remote exploitation depends on either interface being reachable, including exposure from the WAN.
