Database disclosure via injectable category ID
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Product Show Room Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data through the id parameter. The category field-order endpoint places the id query value into an SQL statement without neutralizing a closing quote, so a UNION payload returns database-selected values in the response. An authenticated administrative session is required, and the public proof of concept demonstrates database-name disclosure rather than operating-system command execution.
