SQL injection via room type ID
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Hospital's Patient Records Management System v1.0 allows attackers to alter database queries through the room type ID parameter. The view_room_type.php endpoint passes the id value into SQL without adequate neutralization, creating an injectable query path. Exploitation requires network access to the web application; resulting database read or write impact depends on the application's database privileges.
