Database disclosure via injectable menu identifier
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Fast Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database contents through the menu-view id parameter. The view_menu.php endpoint incorporates the id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, letting injected Boolean conditions alter the response length. Access requires a backend session, and the published proof of concept distinguishes true and false conditions by Content-Length to recover database information.
