Database read and modification via category ID injection
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Fast Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through a crafted category ID. The delete_category action in classes/Master.php passes the POST id value into SQL query syntax without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, as demonstrated by an error-based updatexml payload. An authenticated Administrator session is required to reach category deletion, and successful exploitation exposes or modifies application database contents.
