Cross-site request forgery in Ferdi 5.8.1 and earlier and Ferdium through 6.0.0-nightly.98 allows remote attackers to read local files. The file-upload workflow processes a forged request from an attacker-supplied settings or preferences file without verifying user intent. Exploitation requires a user to upload the crafted file, after which the request discloses local file contents.
