Stored script execution via unneutralized category data
Published Jul 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Fast Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user’s browser. The save_category action in /ffos/classes/Master.php stores attacker-controlled category data without neutralizing it before later web-page output. Category management is restricted to administrators, and exploitation requires another authenticated management user to view the stored category, enabling browser-context data access or actions with that viewer’s privileges.
