Database compromise via unneutralized id parameter
Published Jul 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ingredient Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate queries through the view_stock.php id parameter. The /isms/admin/stocks/view_stock.php endpoint passes the untrusted id value into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL control characters. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads, writes, and service interruption.
