Cleartext credential exposure in Zimbra Collaboration Open Source 8.8.15 allows attackers to read an initial account password over UDP 514. The original report alleges that the zmprov ca account-creation path writes the randomly generated password into remote syslog traffic without encryption. Exposure requires remote syslog or a multi-server deployment, but an independent reproduction found no password in syslog and no relevant sudo call.
