Code execution via WISPR object double free
Published Aug 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Use-after-free in ConnMan 1.41 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to crash the service or execute code via a WISPR HTTP reply. The wispr_portal_web_result method frees wp_object without first verifying that the object still exists, permitting a second free during WISPR result handling. An unauthenticated attacker must control the network path for a WISPR query; successful exploitation runs code in the ConnMan process or crashes it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
