Path traversal in RealPlayer 20.0.7.309 and 20.0.8.310 allows remote attackers to execute code via external::Import(). The external::Import() method accepts non-media files and fails to sanitize the destination path, allowing writes outside the intended directory. An attacker-controlled SMB or WebDAV share supplies the file; startup processing or an obsolete-library lookup later loads the planted executable.
