Service interruption via malformed JPEG 2000 parsing

Improper input validation in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer 9.0 allows attackers to interrupt service via manipulated JPEG 2000 files. The JPEG 2000 parser accepts malformed .jp2 or jp2k.x3d input and crashes the Viewer instead of rejecting it safely. A user must open the untrusted file, after which the desktop application remains unavailable until restart; reported impact is limited to temporary service interruption.
