Application crash via malformed EPS file processing

Improper input validation in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer 9.0 allows attackers to crash the application through a crafted EPS or ai.x3d file. The EPS and ai.x3d import path accepts malformed file content without sufficient validation; SAP has not disclosed the exact parser operation. Exploitation requires a user to open an untrusted file and causes a temporary service interrupt that ends after the Viewer restarts.
